i still love that i go out to networking drinks with hot young authors. they are cute and charming and clever and really want my approval and attention (and shelfspace).
but would they be so cute if they weren't published?
that reminds me...i was at the brooklyn brewery a couple months ago--we saw a dead ringer for jerry seinfeld. we couldn't get over it. i'm talking drunk enough for the turning heads and looking and pointing. poor guy probably thought we were checking him out.
